Effective date and last update: October 3, 2026. Document version: 2.2.
Use this page to request deletion of your Quadra data, even if you don't have the app installed.
1. Summary
Erasing your data and deleting your account are two different things. You can erase all your data from within the app itself at any time. Deleting your access account, on the other hand, is something you request by email and we carry out. Uninstalling the app does neither of these if you have an account with synced data.
2. Erasing your data from the application
Quadra includes this option today, on any plan. The path is:
Profile → gear icon (Settings) → Danger zone → Delete all data.
This action permanently erases, on your device and in the cloud:
- The accounts you created within Quadra to represent your financial situation (cash, bank, cards, savings). These are records you enter yourself: Quadra is not connected to your real bank accounts, and deleting them here does not affect anything outside the application.
- Transactions, custom categories, budgets, goals, debts and loans.
- Recurring-transaction rules, associated documents and preferences.
If you use Quadra Pro, this also clears the data synced on our servers and, on the next sync, on your other devices. Afterward, the app returns to its initial state with the default categories.
Important: this option erases your financial information, but keeps your access account and your session: when it finishes, you remain signed in to Quadra with the same email. If you also want to delete that access account, follow the procedure in section 4.
3. If you use the free plan
On the free plan your financial records are not synced to our servers, so in addition to the option above you can delete them from the device itself:
- Uninstall Quadra from your device.
- Clear the app's data from your Android device's settings (Settings → Apps → Quadra → Storage → Clear data).
Keep in mind that this won't remove information that already reached our systems because of actions you requested: the receipt scans you sent for processing and the DGI fiscal QR lookups still waiting for the invoice to be published. To delete those records, use the option in section 2 or write to us. Nor does it remove technical or advertising data that the advertising provider has processed independently under its own policies (see section 5).
4. Deleting your account
To delete your access account, email us following the procedure in section 6. We will delete your account and the associated information from the databases and systems we operate and control directly, and we will pass the deletion instruction on to providers acting on our behalf (for example, cloud infrastructure, authentication or document processing), to the extent technically possible and within the timeframes indicated on this page.
Remember that deleting your account does not cancel an active Quadra Pro subscription: cancellation is done through Google Play (Payments and subscriptions).
5. Providers and independent controllers
Some providers act on Quadra's behalf and receive our deletion instructions; others — such as the app distribution and billing platform, the advertising provider or DGI's public lookup service — are independent controllers that process certain data under their own policies, autonomously from Quadra.
For these independent controllers, deletion, retention or further processing of information is governed by their own policies and channels; we recommend contacting them directly if you want to exercise specific rights against them.
6. Request by email
To request deletion of your access account, or to delete data without installing the app, write to us. This button opens your email application with the request already drafted:
If you prefer to write it yourself, send an email to joelaparicio.work@gmail.com with the subject “Delete Quadra account”.
Include, if available:
- The email used to sign in to Quadra.
- Your account identifier, if the app shows it.
- A note saying whether you want to delete only the data synced to the cloud or also close the associated account.
We may ask for reasonable additional information to verify that you are the account holder before proceeding, in order to prevent fraudulent deletions.
7. Timeframes and limited retention
We will handle verified requests within a reasonable timeframe, normally up to 30 days, unless we need more time for technical, legal or security reasons. After completing the operational deletion, some backups may persist temporarily until the next backup-purge cycle. Some minimal records may be kept longer when necessary for fraud prevention, legal compliance, auditing, support, dispute resolution, or purchase records managed by the app distribution platform or the corresponding subscription-management provider.
8. Important notes
Deleting data may be irreversible. Canceling your Pro subscription does not automatically delete your account or your data, and deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription; these are two separate actions, and you need to handle each one yourself (see Terms of Use). Quadra cannot directly erase information that is under the exclusive control of an independent controller — such as payment records kept by the relevant app distribution platform — but it does pass deletion instructions on to providers acting on its behalf. For more details, see the Privacy Policy.
