Effective date and last update: October 3, 2026. Document version: 2.2.
1. Introduction
This End User License Agreement (the “EULA”) governs the use of the Quadra mobile application, provided by Aparicio Technologies, domiciled in Panama. By downloading, installing or using Quadra, you accept the terms set out in this agreement.
This EULA governs the license to use the software. The Terms of Use govern the provision of the service, your account and the subscription. The processing of your personal information is governed by the Privacy Policy. The three documents complement each other; in the event of a contradiction regarding the software license, this EULA prevails.
2. License grant
Aparicio Technologies grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable and non-transferable license to install and use Quadra on devices you control, exclusively for personal purposes and in accordance with this agreement.
The application is licensed, not sold. Aparicio Technologies and its licensors retain all rights not expressly granted to you in this document.
3. Permitted use
As a user, you may:
- Install Quadra on devices you control.
- Record and manage your personal financial information.
- Use the features available under your plan, free or Quadra Pro.
- Make the copies that Android or authorized backup mechanisms generate automatically.
4. Restrictions
To the extent permitted by applicable law, and except where it expressly provides otherwise, you must not:
- Attempt to circumvent or bypass protection, authentication or access-control mechanisms.
- Exploit the service abusively, including evading usage limits, scan quotas or subscription controls.
- Interfere with the infrastructure, servers or availability of the service.
- Use Quadra for unlawful activities or to infringe the rights of third parties.
- Redistribute modified versions of the application.
- Sell, rent, lend or sublicense the application without written authorization.
Where applicable law expressly grants you the right to decompile or reverse engineer for specific purposes, such as interoperability, that right is not limited by this agreement.
5. Intellectual property
Quadra, its design, brand, interface, graphic elements, documentation and original components belong to Aparicio Technologies or its respective licensors, and are protected by applicable intellectual property rules.
The financial data you enter into Quadra remains yours and is not part of the intellectual property licensed under this agreement.
6. User data
Quadra lets you store financial information that you provide. The use and processing of personal information is governed by Quadra's Privacy Policy.
The grant of this license does not transfer to Aparicio Technologies ownership of the financial records you create. You grant us only the permissions necessary to process that information and provide you with the service while you use it.
7. Online services
Your records are saved on your device and you can keep using most of the application without a connection. Certain features do require internet:
- Authentication and sign-in.
- Cross-device sync, available with Quadra Pro.
- Receipt scanning via optical character recognition (OCR).
- Invoice lookups via DGI fiscal QR.
- Quadra AI, available with Quadra Pro.
- Notifications.
- Rewarded ads on the free plan.
- Purchase and validation of subscriptions.
When you use these features, only the information necessary to provide them is processed, as detailed in the Privacy Policy.
8. Artificial intelligence
Some Quadra features use artificial intelligence systems to interpret information, generate summaries, facilitate data entry or answer user queries.
Automatically generated results may contain errors or incomplete interpretations and must be reviewed by the user.
Quadra AI provides information and support tools. It does not replace financial, accounting, legal, tax or professional advice, nor does it make financial decisions on the user's behalf.
9. OCR and extracted data
The automatic extraction of information from invoices, receipts, vouchers or other documents may contain errors. The same applies to data obtained from a fiscal QR lookup.
You are responsible for reviewing the extracted information before confirming or using it. Quadra presents the data for your review and does not add it to your records without your confirmation.
10. Financial information
Quadra is a personal-finance organization and analysis tool. Quadra is not a bank, financial institution, investment broker or financial advisor.
Quadra does not execute payments or transfers, does not hold funds in custody, and does not require you to connect your bank accounts. Decisions about your money are exclusively yours.
11. Subscriptions
Quadra offers a free tier and a paid subscription, Quadra Pro, which enables cross-device sync, unlimited monthly scans, Quadra AI and an ad-free experience.
Purchases and subscriptions made on Android are processed through Google Play and are additionally subject to Google Play's applicable terms.
- Subscriptions renew automatically when applicable, until you cancel them.
- Cancellation is done through Google Play, under Payments and subscriptions.
- When you cancel, you keep access to Quadra Pro features until the end of the period already paid for, subject to the platform's applicable rules.
- Prices and applicable taxes may vary by location.
Uninstalling the application does not cancel the subscription, and deleting your account does not automatically cancel it either. See the Terms of Use for details.
12. Updates
Quadra may receive updates intended to add features, fix bugs, maintain compatibility or improve the experience. We do not guarantee that the application will receive updates indefinitely, or that every version will remain compatible with every device.
13. Availability
Some features may depend on an internet connection, external services, your device's compatibility, or regional availability. Certain features, such as the DGI fiscal QR lookup, are specifically designed for Panama.
14. Termination
You may stop using Quadra and uninstall it at any time. Aparicio Technologies may terminate this license in the event of serious breaches of the EULA, within what applicable law permits and, when reasonable, after giving you the opportunity to cure the breach.
Upon termination of the license you must stop using the application and uninstall it. The sections on intellectual property, limitation of liability and governing law survive termination.
15. Account deletion
Uninstalling Quadra is not the same as deleting your account. Uninstalling the app removes it from your device, but does not by itself delete information associated with an account or previously synced.
You can erase all your data from within the app itself, under Settings → Danger zone → Delete all data. To also delete your access account, see the account and data deletion page, which explains both processes and the applicable timeframes.
16. Reasonable disclaimer of warranties
Quadra is provided while striving to maintain stable, proper operation, but it cannot be guaranteed that the software will be permanently free of errors, interruptions or incompatibilities, nor that automatically generated results will be accurate in every case.
Nothing in this section limits or excludes rights or warranties that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including rights you may have as a consumer.
17. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Aparicio Technologies is not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
- Decisions made based solely on Quadra AI results, without independent verification.
- Errors in data extracted via OCR or fiscal QR lookup that you have not reviewed.
- Unavailability attributable solely to third-party services or independent controllers.
These limitations do not apply in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, nor with respect to liabilities that cannot be limited under applicable law.
18. Google Play
Google is not a party to this EULA and is not responsible for the development, maintenance or support of Quadra, except for the obligations that correspond directly to Google under Google Play's terms.
Purchases made through Google Play are subject to its terms. Any claim relating to the application should be directed to Aparicio Technologies, not to Google, without prejudice to any refund mechanisms the platform itself offers.
19. Modifications to the EULA
We may update this agreement to reflect changes to the application, to the services used, or to applicable regulations. For material changes, we will communicate them appropriately before they take effect, for example within the app or on this site, by updating the effective date.
If you do not agree with an updated version, you may stop using Quadra and uninstall it.
20. Governing law
This agreement shall be interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of the Republic of Panama, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you may have as a consumer under the laws of your jurisdiction of residence.
Language. This agreement was originally written in Spanish and is also provided in English for your convenience. If the two versions conflict or differ in interpretation, the Spanish version prevails, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
