1. Acceptance and eligibility

By downloading, installing, accessing or using Quadra, you accept these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. These Terms are established by Aparicio Technologies to govern use of the service; if you do not agree with them, do not use the app. Nothing in these Terms limits inalienable rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law.

These Terms govern the service: your account, plans, the subscription and usage rules. The software license — installation, restrictions, intellectual property and platform conditions — is governed by the End User License Agreement (EULA). Both documents complement each other.

You must have sufficient legal capacity to contract digital services under the laws of your country of residence and to manage your personal financial information. If you are a minor, you must have your legal representative's authorization before using Quadra, especially before subscribing to Quadra Pro.

2. Description of the service and license

Quadra is an Android personal-finance tool for tracking accounts, transactions, budgets, goals, debts, recurring items, analytics, OCR, DGI fiscal QR and informative AI features. Quadra is not a bank, does not carry out financial intermediation, does not hold funds in custody, does not execute payments or money transfers, and does not provide regulated financial services. It is exclusively a personal organization and information tool.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use Quadra in accordance with these terms. You do not acquire rights over Quadra's software, brand, design, code or intellectual property.

3. Accounts and credentials

Some features require signing in through an external authentication provider or with your email and password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials, your device and any activity carried out from your account secure.

4. Free plan and Quadra Pro

Quadra offers a free plan with the essential financial organization features, rewarded ads and a monthly limit on OCR scans, extendable by watching ads. On the free plan, your financial records are saved on your device and are not synced to our servers; Quadra AI is not included.

Two things do leave your device, on both plans and only when you request them: the images you send to be scanned, which are processed by a third-party optical recognition provider, and DGI fiscal QR lookups that are still waiting for the invoice to be published, which our servers retry.

Quadra Pro is an individual subscription that enables cross-device sync, unlimited monthly OCR scans, Quadra AI and an ad-free experience. By subscribing to Quadra Pro, you agree that your financial information will be stored and processed on the cloud infrastructure we operate to provide that service, and that queries you actively send to Quadra AI will be shared with the relevant provider solely for that purpose. 5. Subscription and cancellation

Quadra Pro is managed through Google Play. The current price, applicable taxes and currency are always shown on Google Play before you confirm the purchase, and may vary by country. As of this version, the published base price is USD 3.99 per month or USD 29.99 per year. Quadra currently does not offer an active free trial; if one is enabled in the future, its duration, conditions and renewal will be disclosed before you subscribe.

Charges, renewals, cancellations and refunds are managed through Google Play and are governed by its policies. Quadra does not store payment card data. We receive information about the product purchased and the status of your subscription (active, renewed, canceled or expired), but not payment data.

Uninstalling the application does not cancel your subscription, and deleting your account does not automatically cancel it: both actions are independent. To cancel the subscription, you must do so through Google Play (Payments and subscriptions). Canceling the subscription also does not automatically delete your account or your data. Access to Pro features remains until the end of the period already paid for, subject to Google Play's rules. Once Quadra Pro expires, you will lose access to sync and the other Pro features; we recommend exporting or backing up any information you want to keep before that date. Prices and benefits may change with reasonable notice when applicable.

6. Financial disclaimer

Quadra does not provide financial, tax, accounting, legal or investment advice. The app is a personal organization and information tool. Any decision about spending, saving, credit, taxes, investment or money management is exclusively yours.

You must verify the information, consult qualified professionals when necessary, and not rely on Quadra as your sole source for making financial or tax decisions.

7. Quadra AI, OCR and DGI fiscal QR

Quadra AI and OCR may generate incomplete, imprecise, incorrect or outdated results. The information is offered for informational and personal-organization purposes, not as professional advice. Quadra AI does not replace a financial, accounting, tax or legal advisor, nor a banking institution.

Scanning the fiscal QR is not OCR: Quadra decodes the code and queries the public service of the Dirección General de Ingresos (DGI), Panama's tax authority, to structure the available data for that invoice. Quadra is not affiliated with DGI, is not an official tax tool, and does not guarantee the availability of the lookup service, nor the validity, deductibility or tax compliance of the records obtained.

8. Ownership and processing of your data

You retain ownership of the data you enter into Quadra. You grant us a limited license, necessary and valid only while we provide the service, to process it in order to operate, maintain, back up, protect and provide the features you request (including sync, OCR, AI, support and analytics). This license does not authorize using your identifiable financial data to train general artificial intelligence models or to create commercial products other than the service you subscribed to; any service improvement based on data preferably relies on aggregated, anonymized information or technical metrics that do not identify you.

9. Acceptable use

You must not use Quadra for unlawful activities, system abuse, fraud, reverse engineering, unauthorized extraction, interference with the service, evading limits, infringing third-party rights, or submitting content you have no right to process.

10. Third-party services

Quadra relies on external providers for functions such as authentication, cloud infrastructure, payment and subscription processing, advertising, analytics, artificial intelligence, optical character recognition (OCR), notifications, support and hosting. Some act on Quadra's behalf (processors) and receive only the data necessary for the relevant function; others are independent controllers (such as the app distribution platform, advertising networks or DGI's public service) that operate under their own terms and policies.

Quadra does not control the infrastructure, availability or internal practices of independent controllers. To the extent permitted by law, neither Quadra nor Aparicio Technologies will be liable for failures, interruptions or breaches attributable solely to an independent controller; this does not exclude the responsibilities the law imposes on us toward you as service provider.

11. Service "as is"

Quadra is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee accuracy, continuous availability, total absence of errors, compatibility with all devices, or specific financial outcomes. Sync, OCR, AI, ads, notifications and purchases may fail or be temporarily unavailable.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Aparicio Technologies will not be liable for financial losses resulting from decisions made by the user, nor for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use Quadra. This limitation does not apply in cases of willful misconduct, gross negligence, security breaches attributable to us, violations of personal data protection, or rights the law does not allow to be excluded or limited.

Any limitation of liability will apply only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and proportionally to the service provided, without prejudice to the rights you may have as a consumer under the laws of your jurisdiction of residence.

13. Termination or suspension

You may stop using Quadra at any time. We may suspend or limit access to features if we detect fraud, abuse, security risks, a serious breach of these Terms, or legal requirements, giving notice when reasonably possible unless the urgency of the risk prevents it. If you have an active subscription at the time of a suspension not attributable to your breach, we will offer you, to the extent possible, the ability to export your data or a reasonable solution regarding the period already paid for. Termination does not affect pending obligations or rights that by their nature must survive.

14. Changes, governing law and disputes

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the product, providers, prices or legal requirements. For material changes, we will notify you with reasonable advance notice indicating the effective date. We will always publish the date of the last update.

These terms are governed by the laws of Panama. Except for a different mandatory rule applicable in your favor as a consumer, any dispute will be submitted to the competent authorities of Panama.

Language. This document was originally written in Spanish and is also provided in English for your convenience. If the two versions conflict or differ in interpretation, the Spanish version prevails, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
